Thanks, LT. There was a rumor awhile back about Sony buying WDC to get into the DD biz. Struck most of us as about as outlandish as, well, Maxtor and HDD merging, or Seagate going private. I don't understand the rationale behind the Maxtor/HDD merger, especially with the Conner/Seagate experience. Would make more sense from a market share perspective for WDC to be bought out. As amazed as I am to read these words coming out on my screen, WDC is probably a buy, at least if their finances are in order. I suppose we'll have to take a peek at them. They were month to month awhile ago. Don't know if that has changed.
