JC - you mean your grandmother can't do Solaris administration? <GG>

Seriously, setting up a remote admin rig in Unix is a piece of cake, and putting it into a web format is equally easy. You could even use the WEBM format and then get common administration with a bunch of other systems, including HP and even the despised Win2K.

This is not only less than rocket science, it is a whole lot easier to do in a Solaris environment than any other.

I am frankly just amazed at this. If someone had told me a week ago that this was coming, I would have laughed them off... I would have pointed out that SUNW's R&D budget is 50 times COBT's annual sales, so Sun could bring out their own superior products in a heartbeat. I would have made all the other arguments I made in the last few posts. And I would have assumed that anyone who would propose such action by SUNW was just a basher trying to make SUNW look dumb.
