Thanks dad, you did real well. You answered all of my questions and then some, except, in your opinion, would you say no 1 is solid? I am a 20 year mining investment guy so this is all new to me. I am use to dealing with grams and oz and the fact that once a good hole is pulled they seldom go up in flames - <g>.

Hello dad, ***OT***

about time you showed up at home! <gg>

<<From past experience, with BKP#1, it is then reasonable to assume that at least 10 days
will be required to prepare the hole for perfing, another 14 days for flow testing and at
least 10 days for the results to be tabulated.>>

Hate to disagree with you so fast, dad....(funny that moniker wasn't taken up before on SI, but I suppose with so many youthful wizards, who'd admit to "dad")....but with all the logging, casing, testing and completion work prior to flow testing, I think you can easily add another 2 weeks to your 34 days before any "official" results are announced. No big deal, as that would still fit in with your guesstimate that "the news release should be out between the second or third week of November", provided that your buddies can tear themselves away from fishing and get on with the drilling. <gg>

In any case, my golfing buddies tell me that Grayhairs has overstayed Mother Nature's welcome and had to be carted off the snowbound golf course on a dogsled, (supposedly he was looking to shoot an "eagle"?), so hopefully, when he recovers from his summer travails, he will have time to get back to things more important, like straightening us goofballs out - instead of chasing little white balls around.

(BTW Gofer, it may have been Tuesday yesterday......

"If today is tuesday, this must be Belgium.

Wait! today is tuesday! this is Belgium!"

...but today being Wednesday, I'd strongly suggest you lay off that Tripel and get back here fast as well. Your tomatoes are about to freeze!)

Also, while I'm all over the place, I noticed with pleasure that XEN just closed up 12.9% at $.35 That's the Olympic spirit! Now could we have a few more close-ups of the kookaburras, if not a full backgrounder by the CBC or NBC?

Sorry, dad, just lumping all my correspondence into one.

Anyway, welcome to SI and allow me to second your opinion as far as the final results of BKP #2 are concerned:

<<Any date earlier than that would be a major surprise, so relax investors. >>

Ciao

BTW, WRT your earlier comment on SH, my "dry wit" is only dry because with these damned stocks, I can't afford to drink anymore. Well, not Tripels anyway. <gg>

Nice seeing you also over here Draderd, er ah...Dad.

Few of us will ever forget that frightful trek you and S&P made, against all odds, to see BKP#1 roar to life. It was great stuff and great reporting.

My regards to the Missus too.

Bob

Hi dad.

<<Grayhairs and S'n'P, I'd appreciate your comments.

BTW, the forecast here in Calgary, is for SNOW!!Brrrrrrrr!! Time to clean the clubs and get ready to migrate south.>>

I would think that Murphy is likely to show up and tamper with your timetable a bit. We can ZZZZZzzzz for a while yet, and weather permitting, get in a few more rounds of golf. <gg>

Regarding the forecast, I was caddying for my son in a tournament today and damn near froze out there. While I do dread the idea of snow (and those related morning "frost delays" !!!!), on the bright side it would likely help my NG00V's just as much as would another hurricane !!! <gg>

Have a good one and btw welcome to the thread. I look forward to more of your fishing stories. Hopefully they won't originate in an ice fishing shack for a while yet.

Later,
grayhairs
