I know I am a novice on the tech issues, but I cannot understand how DDR will survive much less prosper if a customer cannot buy product with absolute assurance that he will receive what he believes he purchased. If this assurance is not in place the market will simply turn away to any other alternative, no matter how expensive. For all of Rambus' stutters and stumbles, their fault or others', the standards and expectations were established early and rigidly adhered to. Over time I expect this will pay big dividends to the Company.
