Bilow,
Intel will make P4 chips as fast and as many as they can make. For that I'm certain. If you don't see big numbers early on (and I have sources that tell me that Intel has been stacking P4s since late July/early August), it will be because of low yields due to P4's big die and their current manufacturing process. But that will have nothing to do with them wanting to make as many P4s and as fast as they can do them. With high yields of RDRAM, if volume demands it, Samsung, NEC and Toshiba will turn up the dial. Their RDRAM processes have all the bugs worked out and their yields prove that. P4 will be a big hit for Intel, Rambus, Samsung, NEC and Toshiba. The only ones that'll suffer will be Micron, Hyundai and Infineon (unless they move to plan B fast).
