I was not in favor of the Independent Counsel law to begin with, but when it existed, it had to be used evenhandedly. Credible evidence existed, it had to be looked into. There was no witch hunt.........

If the choice is between $50 mil to bomb a pill factory and $50 mil to clean up a criminal White House, I'll take the latter every time. A bargain at twice the price.

<<No doubt, another right-wing Limbaugh fan like Schippers will bring out yet another book on Whitewater with yet another "real story that had to be told." And when he, like Schippers, appears on Oliver North's talk show, he can use words like "scandalous" and "shocking" several times. Bottom line: The average American, of whom I am in close contact with, is tired of these GOP witch-hunts. Let's put as much energy into saving Social Security as we do in persecuting the president. >> FYI Schippers is a life long Democrat. Apparently one of the few with a conscious when it comes to members of their own party.
