sjs, quick answer, then dinner. on the phone guys, i am absolutely NOT surprised about their valuation declines. i can't imagine a more rotten business than voice services. commodity, competitive declining costs and reduced regulatory barriers? yuck! i have a more lengthy answer, but i do not see PACKET transport cap ex as vulnerable...maybe circuit switch, but i see very little fundamental risk for the packet providers.... valuation is another issue, i'll always say that's a risk. td
