I think the funds got the sheep all excited over it to unload. I too have a target for my networth to be 3 billion by 2003. I am in search of idiots who help me achieve this target by bidding my bank account higher! As soon as they are done with FleaBag they can start bidding me higher!

If you had asked me a year ago, I would have said it was doable, but quite frankly, I don't believe it now UNLESS eBay makes some big acquisitions.

eBay's auction count growth rate has slowed down DRAMATICALLY over the past 9 months, and I only see it slowing further, NOT accelerating, which is what it would need to do to achieve those kinds of numbers.
