Great post Tom.

"Its also funny that an internet poster can sell part or all of his/her position while talking about the stock and this is deemed illegal; While in the meantime, the big brokerages do that everyday. They pull the biggest pump and dump scams there are..."

NO KIDDING! Different rules, for different people.....and that IMO is very wrong.

You know when I really think about it, we've probably all posted something, somewhere along the line, that the SEC wouldn't like.

<"this $0.05 stock will be $0.50 very soon"> Sure we've all seen that......hell it seems like 1/2 the posts on RB are ridiculous price projections with no basis.

I'm not too sure where the lines are drawn.

Examples, all of which I think I've done in the last week or so.

- If I post, "XXXX on the pinks now, should be good for a double when it gets back to the BB", I guess that is a price prediction. But if I post that, it's because I really believe that stock will, or could, do that. And if it does double, it doesn't do it because I said so, it does it because enough other people agree and buy, and because once relisted those hesitant to buy on the pinks, would probably get in. Is that post a no no? Got me.

- If I see on a scan, or someone alerts me with something like "XXXX is getting some volume, looks like it could run"
and I buy some, and post "XXXX I in", or "XXXX I'm buying now" - all statements would be true. Okay, so for whatever reason, after the post the stock runs up, and I sell some or all, for a flip.....is that legal, or a no no? Got me.

- If I post "XXXX shell is undervalued compared to many". Unless every one of them is overvalued it is a true statement....hell it's a true or arguable statement as long as other shells of the same ilk have bigger market caps. Is that post a no no? Got me.

- Is posting "XXXX :-)))))))))))" touting?? Got me. Hell I might post something like that without even owning the stock, but posting to someone I know is in, and I'm smiling for them as it's running up.

- Is posting "XXXX now .50 x .52" then minutes later, "XXX .55 x .57" - is that touting?? All it is, is posting the b/a at the time. I might not even have a position in the stock.
