In this topsy turvey market, a suspension of the quarterly dividend might be cheered by Wall Street. Imagine all the extra cash it would free up to help ATT service its huge debt load.

I think they pay out over $ 3 billion per year in dividends.

I'm with you Captain, they should raise the dividend to impress investors that they are completely confident about their future prospects, not cut it! OY
