Well this surely won't change my vote but Gore is making a mistake here IMO.....This is too obviously an ill thought out attempt to get votes.....

It will only antagonize OPEC............And will surely not encourage them to increase production.Perhaps just the opposite...

Unfortunately we must allow the market place to work this one out. As prices rise a rush toward more production by non OPEC countries will increase supply and reduce OPEC's influence......OPEC is aware of this and in truth they don't want prices to rise or even stay at these levels.

If the Government were to do anything they should have been adding to the reserve when the price was below $15. Had this been done prices would have stabilized and production wouldn't have fallen off to the point of creating what we have now.
