I first got an idea for what e-targeting was when doing DD on Meteor Technologies. One of their competitors, backflip.com, is creating a bookmarking system (I am sure you know all about it) that will enable advertisers to do something similar to e-targeting. Not quite the same but along the same lines (they will be forced to sell users information). The benefit to the system we have here is that we will do all the advertising ourselves, and hence have a constant revenue stream. Quite a catchy idea! Cheers
