Can someone knowledgable here point me to a public company that is the closest pure play comparable to the CPI division of Westell? I am having a hard time swallowing a $1 billion valuation for this sort of business from my reading of it, and I'd like to see what public companies are out there that compete and what they are valued at....

SBC is intending to install say 400,000 lines in the last quarter (I think it's close to that). On a daily rate of 5,000 per day x 5 days per week x 13 weeks = 325,000

If that's a weekly number it's only 65,000 new lines. I'm sure that's not correct!!

These basic numbers are how I interpreted the statement from SBC IR posted previously.

I'm quite sure that number MUST have been a daily rate.

Anyone else?

WEEKLY!! er -- um-- NONONONO
let's see 50m customers at 5K per week is 10k weeks.

Good rollout plan, Project SLOTH! Don't think so!

Must be a bottom with DSL hype like this.
