I do feel Spint need a little butt kicking from Verizon to wake them up because that spotty coverage will hunt them sooner or later, or and that terrible customer service too. Someone posted a report saying that SpintPCS is using only 20% of their capacity right now. That tells you that they are not taking advantage of what CDMA brings to them. Tell you the truth I'm not subscribing to the wireless web service because I think charge by minutes is ridiculous.

I am considering converting from Sprint to Verizon Wireless today. I currently have a Qualcomm 2760 Dual-Mode Thinphone, but Verizon is offering a free Audiovox 9000 with a 2-year contract. Since I live in a "weak" area and need to go outside to use my Q-phone I am considering the switch, but only if the Audiovox phone can pull that weak signal into the house. I know we may be talking apples and oranges wrt signal strength because of different transmitter placement, but does anyone think there is a significant difference in the ability of one phone over another for pulling in a weak signal? If not, I will just reprogram my Q phone for Verizon service and forget about that 2-year contract.
