Jim it must be a conspiracy they know what a pain in the ass that you are and they are just trying to push your buttons so leave it alone nobody wants to hear your problems and get tired of reading your crap.If you don't like eturd then go some where else to post your stuff. We are adults and we all have the same problems but it seems like you are the only one to create such a ruckus. So lay off the problems, etrade is well aware of the problems after all they are the one's who have to reset the servers when they go down their traders are the one who have to take the orders when the pages are screwed up so I'm sure they know..I'm sure they will fix them some time.So lighten up already. So if you have something contructive to say about how to circumvent a particular problem fine but just to tell us to complain to etrade don't.

Only way I was able to get to the Current Offerings was thru a non-secure URL.

Jim,

I'm convinced that it is useless writing to Etrade. Yesterday I sent them a letter of complaint regarding the fact that when I called in my re-confirm (because their site was down) for TTMI it was never done -even though I was assured by the broker that she would put it through for me. I ended up receiving a letter of reply from them this morning. It was that form letter stating they are sorry I didn't receive an allocation and what the chances of receiving one are. It had nothing to do with my issue. It is obvious that they didn't even read my letter. I wasn't complaining that I didn't receive an allocation - I wanted them to know that my order through one of their live brokers never went through.

They are the pits. They are never wrong and their site is perfect - we should know better than to complain!

Jim B.

RE:ETRADE System Problems. Why do you keep beating this horse???? Etrade knows what is going on with their system problems. Do you REALLY believe some peon who answers the telephone when you call would acknowledge their problems even if he/she knew?? If they did acknowledge, they're powerless to do anything about it. You should have determined that already. You're dealing with a company, not your neighbor. It's their ballgame, their ball park, their rules. You either play their game or leave. Need I say more? Lighten up and get back to business. You seem like Don Quixote to me and Etrade is the windmill. JMHO.
