Since I do not follow INTC , I have looked at historical data of this company.
hey typically grew infrom Q2 to Q3(always week) 0-5%, so INTC
3-5% growth is within historical range.
Many analysts were surprised when INTC predicted 5-8% growth this year-the best growth in 5 years.
So, I you see PC is healthy, as others PC related company stated.
I am sure many potential buyers of new PC are waiting for new Windows version.
Either you have new or two years old PC , you have the same
"broadband" demand.......
We have lots of cars on roads, but not enough roads....
ALA is recovering in Paris since the start.
Euro is stronger , so as I write the price is 75.8/1.153 =
65.75 US $
The lowest was around 62.5 US
I think ALA is well overdone, since was going down sharply in the recent days.
BTW, micron technology few days ago indicated strong demand for D-RAM, what indicates the same Dell was saying:
demand is picking up.
Personally, the only PC makers O have is APPLE(since 1997), which is growing.
Otherwise I stick to telecom and telecom related components
chips, optical etc.

Steve,ALA is coming back strong in Paris, and Euro gained 3%
77.2/1/126= 68.5US!!!!
Well, my drug stocks are gone as of yestarday in preparation
for cheap ALA and few others shares, and ALA do not want to
go down.
I hope I will not get the chance to buy more AAL as day progress, however telecom chip makers.....
