Bipin:

RE: INTC management wants to take the whole market down with them instead of admitting their inept and etc

Do you believe the problems in Europe (weak Euro and high oil) are Barrett's doing?

Dear Bipin: Yes, I agree, here is a snippet of some of the financial talk lately. JDN

But Chase H&Q analyst Walter Winnitzki wrote in a note to clients: ``We believe Intel is no longer a good coincident indicator of trends for the PC vendors.''

Winnitzki said the soft demand in Europe was old news, and in fact that there were signs of recovery there.

``Our analysis is inconsistent with Intel's argument of a weaker Europe and demonstrates that Europe has begun to show improvement,'' Winnitzki said.

I happen to fall in this camp. I think INTC is hiding their own troubles blaming external factors of which have been well known for weeks now, yet SUDDENLY INTC feels the need to warn. BS.
