The handwriting on the wall says this is market manipulation WRIT LARGE! This indeed looks like it is supposed to give some relief to Europe and the Euro.

This is causing some confusion in the gold stocks. THE gold rally, the real one, is probably postponed a few minutes days or weeks till they sort it out (How's that for hedging!).

But I think they'll have to let Ole Yeller out for a walk today anyway.
