crack the conspiracy of silence that thwarted his other investigations,

Instead it appears that Starr couldn't find evidence of wrongdoing because there wasn't any. He could have figured it out by reading the first Whitewater reports, instead he plunged deeply into Clinton's sex life. Face the guys a pervert.

This is your opinion, viewed with optimism and altruism. But I seriously doubt the motives of religious right leaders. I have no reason to fear established churches or temples. They provide the moral backbone to individuals and communities. I do fear the people who want to strictly interpret the religious text to suit their ends and ignore the larger cross section societal needs. We have our own religious right in India, and all one can hope is pray that it does not become a monster. Taliban (a very extreme example) is another RR. All of them have used their own interpretation of religious texts as a means to further their causes to the detrimental effect of the society.
It comes as no wonder that founding fathers of this country were guided by DEISM philosophy to put a strong foundation for this nation.
