Elmer, >What do you think Bob Brinker will say this weekend?

He couldn't have dreamed of a better happening to support his bearish stance on the NAZ. He'll be in fine form, predicting possible 1400 on the NAZ (he's already said that). I hear he's retiring in December. Guess he goes out as a bear. Abby still bullish. We'll see who's right.

Intel is still going to show growth, 3-5% over Q2. This is hardly a disaster, except for the share price.

EP,

I agree this is hardly a disaster nor the end of Intel but how do you ignore management's role in the misfires this past year.

Is it not time for the Board of Directors, and/or the investors to push for change?

Well, that would translate to an annual growth rate of 21% or so. And the PE was 54, before the recent decline...

It's always true that when stocks are richly valued or overvalued, small changes in earnings/revenue numbers will cause large changes in stock price. Look at LSI, a 3% shortfall in revenues, and the stock was taken to the woodshed and shot! It lost 40% within the space of 24 hours...

Elmer,

I think if he was on live, he'd crap all over Intel. Bob seems to like to do that. When it comes to LU which he has held since IPO, it takes a caller to specifically ask before he'll say anything negative about his LU.
