This also applies to AMD to a certain extent: Intel is probably dramatically increasing Willamette wafer starts as we chat. If Q4 does not pickup substantially from Q3, Intel will have plenty of spare capacity to ramp in Q4.

But where would they get all that Rambus? Besides, it would kill the rest of their product line.

Intel is just plain screwed.

Intel can ramp P4 all they want, only 1% of the ram being produced is Rambus, so those P4's will sit in a warehouse a lot longer than those Duron's.
