Dip-shorts -- Of course, they won't do anything tangible -- like putting a black person as the nominee for vice-president. No, no, no siree, that will be going too far for the Republicans! So let me get this straight. You want to ridicule the GOP for not having a black candidate on the national ticket? When the democRATS haven't fielded one either? Hey, look, I found a picture of Dipy! It's in the dictionary under "Hypocrite - see also: race-baiting quota-mongerer" I must have missed the black candidate that the democRATS nominated for their national ticket. "No, no, no siree, that will be going too far for the democRATS." In fact, you're the bigoted party that held Jesse Jackson back from being on the national ticket. What mean-spirited bigotry. The black leaders in the Republican party are intelligent - like Rice and Powell. Meanwhile, you guys parade the race-baiters -- "Rev." Jesse Jackson and "Rev." Al Sharpton. Come to think of it, I will give the democRATS the credit for seeing what a farce a "President Jackson" would be and quashing it. Can you imagine Al Sharpton as Secy of Health and Human Services?? Before I resume lurking, let me give off-topic props and shouts to JLA, Michael Cummings, Neocon, Ish, DMA, e-Bill, PROLIFE, and the other right-thinking regulars. I know I speak for hundreds of lurkers when I say "thanks" for your tenacity, wisdom, and principled posts that refute the nonsense that surfaces here like mold on wet planks.
