Scott,

If I could vote for Al Gore.. I'd be mailing my vote in now ;)

Hmm, living in a cold climate, I would reconsider voting for an environmentalist freak. Just wait for BPU tax, that will teach you. You know how much energy it takes to keep an average Canadian from freezing to death? Do you know how much money it will cost with an environmentalist president? Do you know how much it would be in your Canadian money?

And don't try to sneak in your Canadian coins. We are smarter now, and we can catch that. <g>

Just something for you to ponder on a freezing cold night.

Joe

Gore knows Canada well. He'd been up here a lot and he knows the issues. Plus.. he's a moderate type guy (well.. to most of us he is anyhow.. Cdn and US political culture slightly differ on the concept of what a moderate is..)

Is in your opinion proposeing to ban the internal combustion engine in less the 20 years moderate? Gore originally proposed this in his book "Earth in the Balance".
Later (during this campaign) he was asked about it and he said that he was wrong...that we can do it sooner than that.
(Note some people here might agree with banning the internal combustion engine. I am not in this post asking if it is a good idea, even though I think it is a very foolish idea, but rather is it moderate. I would submit that foolish or wise it is extreme)
