ekn,

Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and feelings with us. Once again you put the well being of others before your own.

Best wishes,

EKN, I won't respond to all of your points at once, but here's a first shot. I went thru alot of your struggles
holding a bunch of shares as NORRF,and then NCII went
down, lost its listing, but the man now known as TWOMIL's posts convinced me to stay in the game, until finally in late 1998 I got conformation that the Lanier thing was real
and things were actually gonna happen. Everything has taken longer than expected, and yes, RP IMO is a tease, but I loaded up in late 1998 at .0675 and of course have done very well. I have alot fewer shares now than I had then,
but I hold alot more than I held last spring, because for me all the signs say that not only the music players but
whatever the Intel pot is cooking, all is leading to a
grand "coming out party".
BTW, IMO some of the earlier runs were caused in part by
"smart money" such as Lucent guys jumping on board. Also
the run to 8ish early this summer on no news was based on
some similar situation, IMO, but I can only guess who.
Another monster run coming... just my opinion

I have a bad feeling that there is going to be a huge amount of investors eventually scorched.

Already have.

if it does it could spell the end of bulletin board
investing.

Mr Barnum would have disagreed with you.

regards,
cAPSLOCK

Maybe ekn is right about EDIG.

I mean all we know for sure about EDIG is that IBM invited them into the VoiceTimes and Lucent went to EDIG to build them a portable player, that they were invited to talk at JUSTRI to many of the world's leading companies.

Only that Lanier had EDIG design and build a state of the art recorder which has recently generated more revenues than the last 2 years total combined.

That Maycom and QDesign came to EDIG to design players for them.

Hey HanGo came to EDIG to re-design the juke box and ended up knocking 60% of the cost out of the product while making it multi-codec and consume less battery power.

Hey did I mention Intel coming to EDIG to design advanced prototype recorders that so far are as secretive as the Aurora spy plane? And while speaking of Intel, how about those 3 high mucky muck VPs that strolled on over to EDIG's board.

Anyone hear about EDIG being in both Texas Instument's and IBM's booths last year at the Comedex? That Texas Instruments has been sending business EDIG's way?

How about DABOSS finding out that PortalPlayer has NDAs with EDIG. Of course we can't trust DABOSS, he might be one of RP's stoolies.

Why has EDIG doubled their number of engineers this year?

I suppose that when EDIG's technical advisory board is announced that will just be more fluff from RP as well.

And hey, what about those 5 patents at the US Patent and Trademark site? I bet those were put into that database by hackers working for the digster.

I'll agree that RP has been very wrong on many of his stated timelines. Welcome to the world of fast moving high tech. Intel delayed EDIG's prototypes because of technology changes, QDesign just delayed their player because of a change in features.

I guess delays in this fast moving industry will be the norm.

As to no smart money being in EDIG. There are some institutions in it. This is still very early. Do you, ekn, believe that you cannot find a gem before the big boys can? Peter Lynch preaches doing that very thing to individual investors. I think you can't fathom the fact that you have stumbled onto something so large before Wall Street has. You don't trust your own DD. You need confirmation from the big boys on the Steet.

It's called a Cinderella Story. Enjoy it.
