Great post Paul. Noted the ECI stuff.This ECI is going to very important for us especially in Europe where they are a monstruous player, esp. France and Germany. Nhc has a competitor who also tests = TSTN Then the other 3 pure cross connects are 1)Simpler networks, not ready to market or ship units until early next year. Heard from excellent source that their product has been tested with a CLEC and ILEC and was rejected by both. I have personally seen their cross connect box, which has a different technology and is considerably larger ,twice our size for 1/4 of ports. The other 2) is Con-x, recently bought by Krone( would love to know for how much?) apparently not much of a threat, but I don't know as much. The third, the name escapes me, but this one is truly a nonfactor!! Remember what Barry Sine said..Tollgrade is the preferred choice tester by ILECS and tollgrade and NHC have a working relationship and concludes that NHC should get the Ilec market for itself.
