wily,

You've opened my eyes this time. I did not know that there are such a thing as Resource Meter. While loading up all the Mytrack's windows and browser with the meter on, I noticed that I could open 3 browsers with no problem at all and both System resources and User resources clocked a 15% free. Then I realized the reason I didn't have a problem now because the market was closed and there were no live data feed coming into all the Mytrack's windows. Therefore, I will have to report back on Monday when the market is opened to get a true reading on the resource meter.

wily, let's assume for a moment that Window98 did a lousy job managing the resource once the live data feed from mytrack started hitting all the dynamic charts and windows, do you think that WinNT or Win2K can do a better job at it? If they do, do WinNT or Win2K support multiple monitors?

Thanks again.

btw: I noticed that each time I opened a new mytrack window/chart, the resource meter has very little effect. However, when I opened a new unrelated programs or a new browser window, the resources meter showed a decrease in free resources. But then, with live data feed coming in, this may be a totally different picture. Looking forward to Monday to see how everything goes. Will report back then.

Have a great weekend.
