Remember this about yesterday (Friday) folks: Early on some of us commented that many stocks were attracting money with hardly a down tick, even some of the NASDAQ high-flyers. This told us immediately that money was not leaving the market. This is a simple thing, but it is a critical variable to look for early in a day that you are expecting down.

Those gaz-guzzling "antique hauling-dad SUVs" should be banned! Let's go on a fashion jihad! Here's a male defender of SUVs that ultimately whines, "Why can't we drive what we like?" money.com He bought his SUV for the following manly reasons: "I bought my Explorer because I leave the city on weekends and load my SUV with everything from antiques to camping gear." Sounds like most women I know...only they've got kids and groceries. If he drove an F-150 extend cab with a shell like I do he could do all that AND more. But, for some reason I don't think this guy would be caught dead driving a pu...Too working class...too billy for NYC. However, I must draw the line on our jihad at pick ups. They guzzle just as much gas, but IMHO the only people left driving pick-ups are those who have actual need of the carrying capacity...now that the class-sensitive have a fashionable alternative.
