Thanks again for the feedback. I think we are getting somewhere here. Look like you're right on with the cpu being too occupied with the live data feed. I did not know that incoming data need to be managed by the cpu. Now, it makes sense. This also explained why some of the time, my system "hanged" faster than other time due to the heavily trading stocks I happened to be monitoring at the time.

No wonder that after I managed to close some of the live charts, thing become normal again and that I can open a second browser.

I use an AMD 700mhz. I believe I've an IBM harddrive w/8 gig memory (IDE).

Do you think a SCSI harddrive and a faster cpu like the latest 1,000 mhz will help in this case? Or a better OS like the WinNT and Win2K will resolve the problem if it is in fact the incoming live feed that is causing the hanging effect?
