Thanks for your comments Patrick, I remembered you used QCharts and since you trade futures as I do thought you may have some comments. I find that futures support is the worst aspect as Quote.com has instructed SP Comstock to throttle back futures quotes in fast markets to give preference to stock quotes on their limited bandwidth - consequently quotes are 5-60 seconds behind market data I have direct from the CME.

Not good!

When you say you are considering moving back to PCQuote, are you refering to their charting app RealTick III? Or do you have a third party app like TradeStation or something else that can take their HyperFeed data?

I have used HyperFeed with TradeStation and found it to be quite reliable. The one downside for me with that is I have no ability to chart things I have not preplanned to capture, and no source for obtaining historical tick data for Canadian issues (the few that I follow and trade).

Not a perfect world yet. PS, RealTick ADX calculation is way off and as I recall they do some funny things with bars. Rarely could make the bars look like QCharts or TradeStation or eSignal or BMI driven charts... this was about 12 months ago I last used it and can't recall what the issue was.

cheers
Mike
