Hi Bernard, Morgan Stanley just issued a neutral rating on WCII and they resent the " minimal disclosure about the sources of revenues" and "the lack of operating metrics to measure scalability and retail penetration" and that "they have set a new standard among CLECs for their refusal to provide revenues info by service line".
They also say that Lucent could finance up to 70% of capex of WCII for the next few years, "which has pushed need for new capital beyond 2000".
In the same day, Morgan Stanley put a strong buy on MCLD.

I have also noted that they are not always current on the website with their research reports as they are being released to individual investors.

Example: they repeated a strong buy on PCS Friday, but if you go to the website, it will give you the PCS report dated August 10. So they have a two level system: all the info to the brokers, some info, not always updated, to us. It is clearly their research on which we have no rights, but Merrill Lynch shines for putting out reports to us very timely and completely.

Let us hope we are in the right one here,

good luck

Alfredo
