We're in violent agreement. <g>

PSFT has not been leveraging it's Gorilla powers and continues to focus on other areas. They still have a chance of recapturing their earlier success - somebody just needs to send them TRFM and LOTFL.

PSFT is doing the smart thing. The HR space is still good, but growth has slowed. What they are doing is leveraging the HR installed base to sell new applications. This strategy may work since they have spent a ton on R&D to develop some excellent CRM and e-commerce type applications.

Re: Peoplesoft

Sorry I didn't check in this week-end but had to work on the fence line.

One of the things Moore points out is that a gorilla can suffer from bad management and still recover at a later date. I think psft is going to be an interesting case study along these lines.

There is a lot of lock-in with their products and I don't think they lose clients easily. Anyone have any numbers on this?

Also, I don't have a private business perspective, haven't talked to a psft client from this sector so have little knowledge about psft's performance in this area. Any info along these lines would be welcomed.
