Agree that cheap energy has played a big role in fueling the economy for the last decade...not as much as tech perhaps but a huge contributing factor. Cheap energy may be coming to an end. imo dipping into oil reserves is a poor decision...showing our hand well before we need to. as for the euro, the idea seemed flawed to begin with. Global slowdown...perhaps but techs will still be the best place for money. at issue is what happens next week or three & my feeling is there are plenty of nervous nellies out there pondering the intc situation who are ready to cash in when the next megatech warns (if that happens). The mere fact the intc situation is glossed over seems a contraian indication to me. I am starting to sound like fleckenstein.
