I think Atin was getting to the issue. The Betamax was a personal VCR. You could record broadcasts so that you can re-air them for yourself and your friends in your home... it was yours to own. Napster acts as a distribution vehicle. It's nothing like a tape recorder - it a distribution mechanism - a mechanism to distribute copywritten material.

I still think they'll lose. :::))))
