Ted, As for Gore, can you give me specifics of his lying? There are countless examples. Maybe when I have more time, I will summarize some. Here is something I just came across yesterday: washingtonpost.com Gore held a fundraiser in a Buddhist temple (against the law). Whe it became public, he lied about it, saying these were not fundraisers, even though $100,000 of illegal campaign contributions were raised at the event. Now, some e-mails surface with clear reference to it being the fundraiser. These e-mails btw were covered by earlier subpoenas by Congress, Justice Department and Congretional investigations, but were not turned over. A low level staffer (actually a contractor) who found out that part of the e-mail system was skipped and not searched was threatened by White House in order to silence her. Just for the record, Bradley would have been my first choice. I would certainly voted for Bradley if I had to chose between the 2 of them. Even though there are not great differences between the 2 of them - both being liberal, at least Bradley is an honest person - compared to Gore - the slimeball. Bradley talks intelligently about the issues, on a level of an intelligent adult. I can listen to him, consider his arguments, agree with some, disagree with others. Gore on the other hand talks to people on a level of 10 year old. Perhaps he can relate to a vast majority of his supporters this way - a calculated ploy, but it is somewhat disturbing to an adult who is not a moron. It clearly shows that the northeast liberal intellectuals are in minority even it their party. Perhaps some of them just renewed their Faustian bargain, and signed their souls over to another lying slimeball, who has a better chance to bring them to power than an honest intellectual. Gore's characterization of Bradley's health plan, saying that it would leave people with no care, out on the street, that it would take away medicare and medicaid benefits - was downright sickening. I will never forget the look on Bradley's face, looking at Gore spewing these incredible lies. He couldn't believe to what level Gore brought the discussion. He refused to participate on that level. Joe PS: Actually I noticed a significant move on part of the Bush campaign from an adult intellectual level of Republican primaries down to an adolescent level. I don't know if this is because of the Politically Correct movement, or if it is because Bush wanting some of the stupid vote. It's probably the latter. I don't think Bush can afford to leave Gore a monopoly of the votes of the stupid people. Stupid people may well be half of the electorate, so not competing for their votes would be a political suicide.
