hi jeff,

no first hand knowledge. i have nsw2001 due to arrive next week, in anticipation of loading win2000 on a separate partition soon.

we sound like opposite sides of the fence on nsw. i have great confidence in it and attribute much of my success (relative stability?) with win98se to nsw2000 utilities.

your last words, "I happy to move on...." perhaps say it best. i realize the software isn't for everyone. (perhaps just running nu with speed disk and windoctor would preclude some of the lockups?)

i've heard folks mention fixit2000 #reply-14351508 , though this post isn't exactly a ringing endorsement. <g>

best of luck with whatever you decide.

:)
