The only reason that MSFT has not preannounced is because BG wants to hold onto his title as worlds richest man for as long as possible. Can you imagine going from richest to, well, just one of the pack. He must be losing his mind. After LE really lengthen his lead over BG as richest man, BG will resign from the company to "pursue of interests". MSFT' products are not of a "WebTone" quality. The server is one of the most important IT infrastructure pieces. Server down=huge loss in productivity. MSFT has not proven they can design a stable product. Oh, we will release Win2000 but please wait for the first service pack. What kind of bullshit is that. The days of marketing IT products like that are over. Too little, too late=niche player in the future. JMO, have a nice day, Bob.
