From AMD Zone: AMD Looks At Hays County For Fab 35 Reported by: Chris Tom At: 7:24 PM Source: Austin American Statesman The Austin American Statesman also has a story about AMD looking to Hays County for FAB 35. From their current location Hays County is about 10 minutes down I35, and would be opposite of the growth north up I35 in Williamson County where Roundrockzilla is located. Drew Prairie is quoted in the story mentioning that AMD is approaching full capacity and they are looking for possible sites for a new fab.
