I support manipulation on behalf of lower energy prices.>>>

Rarebird, please don't...don't lose your senses.....<g>
Any artificial (other than market forces) energy manipulation will lead to more SUV's not less, less investment into alternative energy not more, more pollution not less....This is the worst enviromental blunder, much worse than previous Gore's shananigans....Lets face a reality...Gore is the biggest disaster waiting in the wings, he is not competent leader, Bush maybe an idiot, but surely with much less potential for harm than Al? <g>

<<I could support a Federal Reduction in Taxes in regard to gasoline. But I don't share your hatred, resentment and animosity. Life is to short for that. >>

Why are all Democrats so fast to accuse anyone who doesn't agree with theft, guilty of "HATE"?

Why do so many in the East - Hate all those who work in the Petroleum industry?

How can you say from one side of your face you support lower energy costs then from the other you support the stand of this administration against mining(even Western cleaner burning) coal and support reduced domestic exploration of oil & gas?

When oil from the strategic reserves are released, it provides an energy subsidy of the entire of the world which are not net producers of petroleum.

How far do you support taxing Americans to provide an energy subsidy for Europe & Japan?

At which time did Gore lie, when he said he wanted lower energy prices or higher?

Gore Has the High Energy Prices He Wanted
CNSNews.com
Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2000
Vice President Al Gore wanted higher oil prices, and now he has them – and that's why we need a new president, says House Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-Ill.
Hastert spokesman John Feehery told CNSNews.com a new administration would bring a "commonsense energy policy as opposed to the wacky energy policy proposed by the vice president."

The comments followed Gore's appearance on NBC's "Today" show Monday, where Gore rebuked Congress for not implementing key provisions of the Clinton administration's energy recommendations.

Be Careful What You Wish For

Said Feehery: "In 'Earth in the Balance' Gore said, 'Higher energy prices lead to conservation.' We are seeing the Al Gore vision being realized right now.

"He wanted higher prices, and he's got them. That's the reason why we need a new president."
