In the spirit of Jesse "give me money or I'll boycott you" Jackson, I recently read the following:

"The following companies have refused to contribute to GATA: Barrick Gold, Newmont Mining, Homestake, Normandy Mining, Kinross, Bema Gold, Pan American Silver, Viceroy Resource Corp., Sons of Gwalia, Vista Gold Corp., and Ashanti Goldfields. We don't know their lack of motivation. We have tried to contact a number of these companies but our calls go unanswered. These companies refuse to participate in the uncovering of one of the greatest financial conspiracies of our time. Thus, we cannot buy shares in these companies and if we owned them we would sell them. "

I need to get a list of companies who have contributed to GATA, so I can avoid investing in them ;)

(Off-Topic) GNN is still Good Nutty Names

Access to Le Metropole Cafe via Windows 3.1 still a NoGo.

Remember that
zdnet.com BERST ALERT - One Address for Life:
that I mentioned? Well I did it, I registered a bunch
of text that will do what I am not yet sure it is.

Why? For the first 1 million to do it, its a free for life.

After that its $12/year.

As the zdnet article said, if this company OneName is successful
then this will be a gotta-have thing, and if not
and if you get in on the first 1 million to register
then its no money and about 5 minutes of your time lost.

Eventhought I have not read the stuff on the OneName web site,
and eventhought the $12/year is no biggie, I was able to
register a string of characters that many folks would also
like to register if lots of folks jumped on this bandwagon.

Like the now dot com(s) name, where Vote.com was registered
and last year sold for a $million$, etc etc etc.

These tho I'm not sure what they do except for what was
mentioned in that post. But for example Bill Murphy of
GATA might do it today and sneak in the first one million
and register the string "lemetropolecafe" for life.

Or someone might register "I can not remember what the heck it is."

Or C. Clay might register "Float like a butterfly, sting..."

(from my post incase you wish to DoIt)

Why OneName Is a Natural Born Killer

What if your personal name was your address?

Linked automatically to addresses, emails, phone numbers?

Safe from prying eyes.

That's the idea behind OneName's eXtensible Name Service.

I'm nominating it to be a Natural Born Killer.

I'll tell you how it works.

And how to register your name before someone else grabs it.

[End.]
