Hi Dealie
Good morning to all.
I wrote down that book. I`ve read the Road Less Traveled twice. I`ve been in recovery for eleven years and have read many spiritual growth books. I really believe that what goes around comes around. Was that one of the lessons?

I just sent back a check to the US Treasure for almost 3K. It was a dupicate payment for one of the cases I assisted on. I don`t think they ever would`ve caught it, but I`ve learned that you don`t really ever get away with anything. It`ll come back on you somehow--someday. JMHB(Just My Honest Belief)

Thanks for the mention of the book.

Later
Jazzercising Jamie

Well said Glenda.

It is admirable indeed, not only
to be able to recognize one's own shortcomings
but to take positive action to overcome them.
I truly am happy that you have found love
and fulfillment through the writings of Deepak Chopra.

Soon other qualities will become apparent as well.
Respect and forbearance immediately come to mind.

Have a nice day, and God bless.
rose

Well I dont know.
I was eager about all that "you are what you think" philosophy a few years ago. I had a house to sell during a very very slow market.
I did everything: put up 'sold' signs next to my bed, was sure it would sell, made up posters of successful sales, etc etc etc.
Guess what?
I lost the house: you can dream all you want but the only time imagining good makes it happen is when only you are involved i.e. if you have a character flaw...anger ...you can think yourself calm and non angry because only you are involved. But as for making a million, or selling a house, or anything else that involves others.....
I don't think it's quite like that.

Hope everyone is well. To the relief of some perhaps, I will no longer be following the porch. My ego is not such that I think this is a great loss or some nonsense like that. -g

I have to say what's in my heart -- we are too much the clowns here. I am not picking on Tom, but I can not see a way to bridge the gulf between our approaches. His averaging-down of INTC puts is bold, but something I will never be able to understand.

Losers are not a thing to be averaged-down, rather, they are a thing to be shot in the face. It is the most fundamental wisdom that has come down to us from better traders of ole who have been in more battles than we have seen.

FWIW, I think INTC will bounce very soon (as will the market in general imo). Anybody who can chart could see the INTC bounce coming. It is approaching a strong rising line in the $41.xx. No matter.

There will come a time, we are perhaps in it now, when buying dips will kill you. The market is not in the business of making millionaires out of new traders. Has always been so, will be again some day. Fear drives me slightly more than greed. I want to make a living, not a killing.

I wish you all the best. (Tom, please, I am not picking on you. You are just the largest target. -g I know you can take it.)
