Just doesn't make sense to me that ADI would go this rout for money.
If they were buying a company why wouldn't they just use their stock. Any company that wouldn't exept ADI's stock for a buyout isn't worth buying anyway besides there aren't a lot of quality companies you could buy for $1 billion.

I agree they'll probably focus on the newest technology in optical, and a pre-IPO entity is a good place to focus.
