MB...if you would rank these 3 companies in order of buy candidates....ALLR, FMO, KEA. You've mentioned liking all 3 recently. I've followed KEA off and on for over a year. KEA is near the $15 buy target while ALLR and FMO keep sinking. I'm always leery about buying a stock that keeps making new 52 week lows as they typically go lower. Kind of like trying to catch a falling knife....and mom always said not to play with knives. If one employed your strategy of buying in thirds it would lower the risk but all that stock held at higher prices overhanging the company will keep a lid on the upside for quite awhile...especially in the case of ALLR where a class action lawsuit has been filed. Your thoughts please. TIA.

mdb and all: with value in mind, i picked up a pair of mmgs from

magnepan.com . check out

audioreview.com

for reviews. for $500, these speakers are stunning (btw, no tax and no shipping so these beauties are more like $400). audioreview.com is a great site. the mmgs have a 4.59 rating out of 5 with over 150 reviews. when you consider a .3 discount for weak base below 50 hz and at least .1 for dopes that can't tie their shoes, these speakers are very near perfect for the money. discounting these speakers for lack of subsonic base is like complaining about the lack of 20khz response in your favorite sub. dumb. they weren't designed for low, low base. they base they do provide is outstanding, though. match them with a sub and you have an AWSOME system across the entire sound spectrum.

set these puppies up right and you will immediately understand the terms "soundstage" and "transparency" in a very real way. the music is crystal clear and dances in front of you (not from the speaker).

awsome speakers with tremendous value.

you do need an appropriate receiver or amp to run these 4 ohm, high current speakers (literally, instruments). you also need to read the reviews to understand the placement issues involved for the best sound.
