Current position of about 9 million ounces gold and 60 million ounces of silver.
This is under 3 years production, and under 15% of reserves.

Civility would be nice - starting with you - piss off etc.? Actually the 'others' you speak of are most likely the Barrick haters who don't like me for defending the company. I used to work for a predecessor company of Barrick - way back in the dark ages - so I've known some of the players - but only one is left, and I haven't spoke to him for many years. I have spoken to IR from time to time. It irks me to have people here and on the GPM thread talk about criminal activity and so on - producers wanting the POG to fall - companies like Barrick being beholden to the bullion banks - an 'international conspiracy' - sometimes I think behind some of this crap is a sort of throw back to the International Jewish Conspiracy of the 30s - note how the names Goldman, Rubin, Peter Munk etc., are trotted out. Sometimes I feel a little like the little Dutch boy and the dam.

Yes, Barrick has become a giant and something of a beauracracy - but it is a major funder of junior mining plays, and in most ways has been the industry leader.
