, the metro access and last mile needs to be deployed

be careful with this thinking, a few years ago in the "worldwide goldilocks economy" we were going to sell every chinese and russian a coke, a compaq, and a gillette.

that was on the eve of the asian meltdown.

now we've had a new version, the new internet economy, with all the new names that have replaced coke, compaq and gillette.

they will all end the same way as the former mentioned over-indulged and overpriced issues did.

and the ones that are already being beaten up most are ones that likely won't make the final cut.

only apple computer, survived the PC computer mania of the early 1980's, and only a very few of these overly pampered, overly funded internet companies will be around as long as msft, intc and apple.

Techplayer there are not real use for broad band for Joe and Marry who care less about computers and key boards and are pleased with their TV and think the cable fees are to expensive.

Techno inclined people are way to optimistic about penetration and most important useful use of the internet for average Joe few want to touch a keyboard even if they do so at work.
