Thanks for the story Rory. Looks like the "other shoe".

Maybe we get another dip to buy it will be via this kind of effort to organize a consumer nations coordinated attack on energy prices. That's why have held onto some cash reserves.

But such a G-7 "gang bang" of the oil price will only get them very short term results (if any) and at best limited applause from the diminishing number of know nothing voters and "analysts" who don't see through western governments tortured efforts to avoid the only real solution:

Give the ball to our highly competent and technologically advanced private petroleum AND shipping industry with incentives instead of bashing. Tax breaks instead of temper tantrums. Positive public statements instead of lies and cheap shots. How about dusting off an old phrase we haven't seen in a while. "CRASH PROGRAM"!

Though even that won't be a quick fix, it's the best we can do after years of ill advised and anti-energy policy by numerous western governments.

The sooner the politicos "get with the program" the less LT suffering the average guy will have to endure. Would sure like to see a little miraculous awakening to reality before the election but have my doubts...
