Re: "When Intel posts Winbench 2000 scores for P4 at shipping speeds. When P4 ships (if ever). I also do not see any Itanium scores for SPEC or RDBMS benches. Where are those Paul? Is Intel so afraid that publishing the current dismal scores would show what a disaster it has on its hands?"

Dear Pete, you continue to pass this gas as though it were fact. These chips are not released yet and I can't remember Intel ever releasing specific performance information on an unreleased chip. Can you? Please fill us in. Where are these "dismal scores"?

Pete Re:"When P4 ships (if ever)."

You should avoid such absurdities in the first paragraph.

It causes fits of laughter before a person hits the next key. Bad news when drinking coffee and reading at the same time.

Pete, <This is because LDT can move 6.4GB/sec like quad channel PC1600.>

Methinks you have absolutely no idea what purpose LDT serves, or why it's so vital to AMD's plans for the high-end server space.

Peter Principle - re: "When Intel posts Winbench 2000 scores for P4 at shipping speeds. When P4 ships (if ever). I also do not see any Itanium scores for SPEC or RDBMS benches. Where are those Paul? "

First - I have not made any claims on P4 or ITanium performance.

On the other hand, you have made claims on the SludgeThumper performance.

Your refusal to post the SludgeThumper benchmarks to back up your claims reaffirms what we all know - that you are nothing but an EMPTY BLOW HARD.
