Pete - Re:"The ball is in your court to prove me wrong. None has been seen by me yet wrt P4 and Itanium"

You have only speculation, NO FACTS, and you suggest that the burden is to prove you wrong.

Get Real !!

AMDfedayeen "logic" just gets weirder and weirder.

Pete, <Just because you do not like the results, do not blame the messenger, blame Intel.>

Blame Intel for what? Following their normal policy of not releasing official benchmarks until the actual release of their product?

Tenchusatsu

EDIT - I just saw your post to Elmer:

<You LIED ELMER when you stated that Intel does not release benchmarks before the release of the CPU. Intel diseminated that at IDF Fall 2000 for P4 (remember the posts by two different websites?) a MPEG compression benchmark for P4. It did the same with Itanium.>

I was not aware that Intel officially released any benchmark results for either Pentium 4 or for Itanium yet. Can you point me to those web sites which published those official benchmark scores?

Re: "I do not see you doing the same. I will cite those benchmarks when I see them. However in the case of P4, the prerelease rumors and published beta results back up my claim. Just as you used the ones of Athlon a little over a year ago. Just because you do not like the results, do not blame the messenger, blame Intel. The ball is in your court to prove me wrong. None has been seen by me yet wrt P4 and Itanium"

Pete, if you're serious here, all I can say is you and I don't share the same view of your importance in the great scheme of things.
