I suspect The Dallas Morning News is correct with its facts. But you do agree that state elections are not local elections, don't you? And don't you also agree that voting in a state runoff elections (of which there were at least two) is vitally important, given so few vote in such elections? His voting pattern shows he didn't care enough to vote.

Don't you think that Dick Cheney, a former congressman who once sought votes, and now wanting votes for his vice presidential election, is supposed to have a special antenna, a little extra responsibility to do so, when it comes to voting in elections?

And, one more time, his failure to vote is a terrible civic lesson for young folks. I hope every kid he meets on the campaign trail peppers him with that question.
