Dear Tench: I cited it as an example. I remember a long running program on PBS that connected a lot of technological developments to other such developments. Sometimes, it was surprising how they sometimes were connected. I forget what the gentlemans name that came up with these things but I believe the show's name was "Connections". BTW, the 50 others were companies that licensed the technology. Not persons. I assume that they have other uses than what AMD plans to do with it. Pete
