Thanks for the input. Points well taken but not technical road blocks, IMO.

#1 - I don't see that as a technical road block.
#2 - With RDRAM being a 16 bit technology, how does it increase the pinout of a RIMM by a large amount? I mean, SDRAM has 4 times the size and I don't see that being a problem for DIMMs.
#3 - I also don't consider that a problem. Why would it be harder to match wire lengths/signal lengths? On a single RIMM PCB, why can't each half of the PCB duplicate the wire lengths for each channel? Same on the mobo. Again, IMO, I don't see that as a technical road block.

IMO, I think such a system could be in the cards for the future.
